I am a communications designer based in Munich, Germany. My design practice uses a multifaceted approach to investigate the way we can adapt visual, commercial and social culture into a design process. Exploring influences such as snow sports, philosophy and people creates a framework allowing my design to express everyday interactions.
I studied communication design at the Designschule Munich, Germany and Otago Polytechnic, New Zealand. During my studies and professional practice, I have worked extensively with a wide range of branding genre such as lifestyle, fashion and sports and the basic elements of classic graphic design. I do not see myself as a traditional photographer however my practice has heavy photographic influence.
I have always found a cameras ability to capture more than just an image makes it an effective tool  to create designs using a universal means of communication. Through my sport, I have also increasingly engaged in the process of filming and cutting video footage. The range of different projects of recent years have given me a broad overview of the potential of how my practice can develop in the future. Conceptual ideas and individualisation is important foundation for my work.
Beauty is actually in the authenticity. I am open to the discerning, philosophical, provocative and cultural challenges that the communications field provides. If you would like to chat about projects or collaborations, please do not hesitate to contact me.
